By the enhancement and promotion of respectful engagement, clinical interventions with individuals and community expertise, rooted in traditional teachings.   Environment free of racism and discrimination where people feel safe.

With Anishinabek culture as our foundation,  promote and support wellness, through a balance of mental, spiritual, emotional, physical for individuals, families and communities.

Goals

Increase the use the teachings of our people, including respect, wisdom, love, bravery, humility, trust, truth, sharing, and kindness.

Increase awareness and honor the Circle of Life and ensuring balance between the four elements: spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional.

Provide and share the teachings of our people from generation to generation. We share best practices and learn from each other.

We are the stewards of the land and we value our connections to the land. The land is our teacher, provider, and medicine-healer.

Balancing and honor Choices and Respect Differences: Everyone is different and we honor and respect these differences. Everyone has the ability to make the choices that are best for them.

Provide and share our Language. Recognize it is rooted in our culture as Anishinabe. It connects us with the land, our ancestors, and each other.

Provide our history and allow it to guide us toward the future. Through understanding our history, we can recognize and embrace our resilience.
